Wow! Where has the year gone?
I've added my showreel onto my website now, so have a look!
Mel.
Whoahs! Things look different around here!
Yep. I've redesigned the website. Hopefully it's still easy to navigate. The infrastructure shouldn't have changed too much; just a new coat of paint to accommodate for the winter blues.
Things will be moving around a bit these next few weeks, as I tweak and tune, so apologies in advance.
But I hope you like it! Let me know what you think, or if you come across any problems.
Mel.
Finally finally finally.... I've updated my site to include The Story of the Flying Fish, my major animation project (which I made with Justine Wong).
You can finally go watch it in my Animations section.
Go take a look!
Mel.
In exciting news...! My final graduation animation, "The Story of the Flying Fish" (which I created in collaboration with my friend Justine Wong) was chosen to screen in the
Sheila Autonomista film festival, last month.
Which reminds me that I should be updating my website with information about my and Justine's animation soon.
I've just updated the Illustration section of my site with a couple more images.
Go have a look!Have a happy May,
Mel.
Aha! You may have noticed that I've finally gotten around to adding a news and updates section to my little site. And it only took... 6 months since I first uploaded this site to do a proper update.
First I have to say thanks to the Art Life blog, which chose to feature my work, and my good friend
Vivienne To's work in their Art Life podcast.
You can check it out here:
The Art Life Podcast Episode 5Pretty neat!
I've updated my
illustration section with some images from one of my graduating works, "When the Fishcats Came". Fishcats is a short children's picture book that I wrote and illustrated. Last year I did a print run of about 40, and I still have a few copies left (very few!). If you'd like to buy a signed copy, drop me an
email!
I've also updated the
photos section with a couple of images.
Thanks for browsing!
